Everyone is an Individual, and nowhere more so than in carnival!

The roots of the Notting Hill carnival are entwined with the Emancipation from slavery in the West Indies, and the cry for freedom and the need to express oneself heard around the world even today.

Even in the Band sections, members like to customise their costumes. Those who would like to 'play mas' as an Individual are supported to design their own costume and assistance is given in the construction and making of the costume.
